Good news! We received approval from the Ministry of Health today to start booking non-urgent appointments.
If you have been referred to Dr. O'Doherty or Dr. Meikle, you will be contacted to schedule your appointment. Appointments for urgent medical problems will receive priority.
We will follow Ontario Ministry of Health guidelines to minimize everyone's risk of being exposed to COVID-19. Social distancing between staff and between visitors will be maintained. Other specific procedures to maximize your safety include: phone check in with our office staff on arrival to the parking lot, screening questions for COVID-19 infection with every visit, waiting in your car or outside the building until being called (i.e. there is no waiting room in the clinic), using hand sanitizer on entry and when exiting the clinic, cleaning equipment and surfaces between patients, the physician will wear a mask and will wash his hands before and after patient encounters, and the physician may use other PPE when appropriate.
Persons with flu or cold symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, sneezing, diarrhea, vomiting) or known close contact with someone with active COVID-19 cannot be seen.
If possible, please come to your appointment wearing a mask. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a mask. We ask that you to come to the appointment alone unless you require a caregiver.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this challenging time.
